Dynamics 365

Business solution designed for growth

In a market that is becoming ever tougher, with increased competition and high demands for efficiency and accurate data, it is crucial to have a business system that handles challenges and can follow market developments. Microsoft Dynamics 365 combines ERP, CRM and BI solutions into one cloud solution, simplifying and improving your processes.

Increased growth with Dynamics 365 value-adding features

The ERP market has changed drastically in recent years. Microsoft Dynamics AX, which later evolved into Dynamics 365 – a pure cloud solution, gives your business a complete and flexible business solution that simplifies any process your business may have from day one – be it production, sales, reporting or billing. The merger of several Microsoft solutions into a clean cloud solution has resulted in several benefits and expanded the capabilities of our customers.

Dynamics 365 gives you a familiar yet modern experience of Dynamics AX with improved insight, intelligence and workflow. The cloud-based ERP system has features and capabilities that allow you to grow much faster than before. Data and insights have now been transformed into intelligent action that allows you to compose, modify and extend real-time processes.

Make decisions faster and base them on accurate data

Business processes are at the heart of your business. What makes Microsoft Dynamics 365 unique is how the platform is user-friendly and easily links economy, sales and operations with CRM, Office 365 and Power BI. This simplifies and improves the business’s ability to move all systems, processes and features into the cloud for faster access to accurate data, greater flexibility and easier upgrade processes.

Increased efficiency and reduced costs are often the result of moving the business system into the cloud

Dynamics 365 provides you with a comprehensive solution for business process innovation, tailored to your business and facilitates the prediction of what products and services your customers need.  With data flow across solutions, roles, functions and operations, the solution effectively provides you with real-time reports of the situation. This way you can quickly make the right decisions and employees have access to the data needed to have an effective day-to-day life.

By moving systems, processes and features into the cloud, you will gain the versatility and flexibility your business needs to grow. In practice, this means that you will achieve smoother operation where users get to work in a unified and simpler system, which often leads to increased productivity. Cloud operations make it easier to make changes and upgrades without affecting business processes.

About the platform

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is part of Microsoft’s cloud platform and uses Azure as an infrastructure.

The solution is part of an overall picture where your business processes are linked across applications using advanced workflow management (Microsoft Flow).

Common Data Service is used to exchange information across applications, and can also be used to integrate with third-party Applications.

Users will find that things are related, whether they work in Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power BI or Dynamics 365.

A “Public Cloud” variant of Dynamics 365 gives you frequent updates, avoiding the major version upgrades that often come with an on-premise solution.

The use of Dynamics 365 and its reporting interface is mostly done in the Web using HTML5. This means that all you need is a device with the internet (mobile, tablet, PC) and an optional browser that supports HTML5 – no client installs are required either.

Azure as infrastructure

Azure is a cloud infrastructure where Microsoft runs and updates the solutions. This means that you do not have to think about all the investments and operating costs associated with a server park. Azure also contains thousands of different services that can be used in combination with your business solutions, such as integration services, IoT services, Machine Learning and predictive analytics.

One of the major benefits of using a cloud infrastructure is that scaling up and down can be done quickly, both in terms of performance and the need for computing power, services and the number of users of the solution. Click here to read more.

Dynamics 365 is priced per user per month, or per device (PC, tablet, mobile) per month. Rental price depends on which components of Dynamics 365 you want to use, where Microsoft offers different “plans” where several components are priced together in one package. Axdata offers solutions and services developed by Axdata or our affiliates included in the rental price, in addition to offering other Microsoft products included in the rental price, such as Office 365 and Power BI.
